Anyways, with that being said a realEYEsation hit me last night as to why what this teacher – what these teachers said – hurt me so effectively:
Do Not Send Your Kid To St. Katherine Drexel High School AKA Xavier Prep
My self esteem and thus identity was based on what others think, whether other folks approve of me.
It was giving away my power that suppressed my Soul and killed my spirit for a looong time and now I am in the process of coming back a stronger and more emotionally stalwart person.
It makes sense all the shit I endured.
