The cops use their position to get into a place of authority where they can mete out the abuse that was meted out onto them as little kids, people growing up. They become bullies themselves and so thus mete out violence on either helpless people or people they feel won’t fight back in a manner that they view as very insidious and threatening.

That said, as I can attest to, they are notorious for misuing the law for selective enforcement as they see fit as when I was accused of causing a 1 inch dent on a car (I did it cause the mofos outside the barbershop were harassing me for being topless in public which is my right) they were almost about to throw the book at me and put me on felony charges (it was changed to misdemeanor but I still served 4 days in jail and went through the rigors of a court process I feel they would not have done if it had been anybody else but me due to my social activism/ topless activism/ copwatching and funny Kouvelis was involved in that case) but when I accused illegal tow truck operators back in around 2012 of doing something similar even though they kne their identities THEY REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING (even those were illegal tow truck operators) AND ALSO ONE OF THEM – MORROW – WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN FALSELY ARRESTING ME FOR BEING TOPLESS IN PUBLIC (which is in fact legal in the State of California). This is why they are quick to abuse their authority when sexually harassing aka “picking up” domestic violence victims or picking on those of minority groups most at risk such as homeless folks, etc. Anyone who says somebody has a victim mentality tends to be a victimizer themselves and KNOW IT, so thus they project bad feelings of shame onto the victim by shaming them for feeling victimized by brutal, evil and hurtful actions.
